Obama Can Kiss North Carolina Goodbye … Rasmussen Election Poll 2012: North Carolina President North Carolina – Romney 51%, Obama 43%
RUT-ROH … more bad polling data for Barack Obama. The Tar Heel state is turning into an unmitigated disaster for North Carolina.
In a Rasmussen poll following Obama’s flip-flopping on the “Gay marriage” issue, Mitt Romney takes a 51% to 43% lead in North Carolina. The two were nearly tied just a month ago. However, that was then and this is now that Obama has become the “first gay” President. No sooner had 61% of North Carolinians voted for a referendum adopting a constitutional amendment defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman, than Obama declared himself in favor of gay marriage and insulted Tar Heel voters. This was certain to take NC out of the so-called battleground states and into the leans Republican.
Mitt Romney has moved out to an eight-point lead over President Obama in North Carolina after the two men were virtually tied a month ago.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the Tar Heel State shows the putative Republican nominee earning 51% of the vote to Obama’s 43%. Two percent (2%) like some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
To make matters worse and completely awkward for Barack Obama and Democrats is that the Democrat National Convention is to be held in North Carolina later this summer. Oops.
President Barack Obama’s decision in February 2011 to hold the Democratic National Convention in North Carolina looked like a bold move to reclaim a state he’d won in 2008. Today, it’s more like an awkward fit.
The state’s Democratic Party is mired in a sexual harassment scandal. Voters just approved a state constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, which conflicts with Obama’s view on the issue. Convention fundraising has been slow, and labor unions tapped to fill the financial gap are angry the convention will be in a city — Charlotte — with no unionized hotels and in a state where compulsory union membership or the payment of dues is prohibited as an employment condition.

YIKES … Barack Obama Only Up by 7% Over Unknown John Wolfe, Jr. in Arkansas Democrat Primary
RUT-ROH … Imagine the embarrassment of Obama losing a primary to an unknown?
President Barack Obama might be having a Southwest commercial moment in the upcoming Arkansas primary and might just “Wanna Get Away”. According to a new poll of Arkansas Dems, Obama leads his unknown primary challenger, Tennessee lawyer John Wolfe, Jr., by a mere 7%. WOW. Just how embarrassing would it be for incumbent President Obama to lose to a complete unknown? The Weekly Standard interviewed Democrat primary challenger Wolfe who said, the poll results were “unbelievable” and said a defeat for Obama in the Arkansas primary would be “politically cataclysmic.” YA THINK!!! Heck, if an unknown actually finished within double digits of a sitting president in a primary is a big deal.
Obama is likely to experience a similar wave of discontent from Fourth District Democratic voters in Arkansas.
In our latest Talk Business-Hendrix College Poll, conducted last Thursday, May 10, 2012, 38% of Democratic primary voters in the Fourth say they’re casting ballots for John Wolfe, a Tennessee attorney who filed paperwork to qualify for the Arkansas Democratic primary.
Less than half — just 45% — say they presently support Obama.
45% – Barack Obama
38% – John Wolfe
17% – Undecided
As stated by Doug Ross, apparently Arkansas Democrats couldn’t find a convicted felon to run against Obama like they did in West Virginia. Classic! Recently, Obama struggled in the WV Democrat primary against Federal Inmate No. 11593-051 Keith Judd who garnered 41% of the vote.
More from the Weekly Standard’s interview with John Wolfe, Jr.
Wolfe predicted that the voters would move his way in the final days before the May 22 primary, despite his shoestring campaign budget. “There’s not been a single TV ad. There’s not been a single radio ad,” he said.
Wolfe is also competing against Obama in Texas’s May 29 primary.
Wolfe has criticized Obama for being too close to Wall Street and its interests (for example, Obama’s latest fundraiser with private equity lenders last night in New York City) and seeks to be a more principled Democrat than the 44th president.
Hillary Clinton was unavailable for comment as to why she never ran against Obama in the 2012 Democrat Primaries.

Autopsy Shows Trayvon Martin Had Injuries to his Knuckles When He Died … Court Records Show George Zimmerman Had Black Eyes, Fractured Nose & Cuts to the Back of his Head
Things that make you go Hmm … sad story starts to take a different turn when the facts of the case are reviewed .
WFTV is reporting that autopsy results of Trayvon Martin, the 17 year old youth who was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, show that Martin had injuries to his knuckles when he died. George Zimmerman and his defense attorney have claimed that there was a scuffle between Zimmerman and Martin prior to the shooting. This forensic evidence would tend to support that assertion.
WFTV has confirmed that autopsy results show 17-year-old Trayvon Martin had injuries to his knuckles when he died.
The information could support George Zimmerman’s claim that Martin beat him up before Zimmerman shot and killed him.
The autopsy results come as Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara continues to go over other evidence in the case.
O’Mara wouldn’t comment on the autopsy evidence, but WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said it’s better for the defense than it is for the prosecution.
WFTV has learned that the medical examiner found two injuries on Martin’s body: The fatal gunshot wound and broken skin on his knuckles.
As per court records, George Zimmerman had multiple injuries to this body. As reported by ABC News, Zimmerman had a pair of black eyes, a broken nose and abrasions on the back of his head (picture). So, we have one individual being charged with second degree murder in Zimmerman with multiple injuries, we have a dead individual in Trayvon Martin with injuries to his knuckles. One would have to question just who was defending who here? As stated at Breitbart.com, the Trayvon Martin autopsy results and the George Zimmerman medical records lead to the logical conclusion is that Martin was beating up Zimmerman severely before Zimmerman shot him. And this is called “REASONABLE DOUBT”.
Court records show George Zimmerman had a pair of black eyes, a nose fracture and two cuts to the back of his head after the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
The medical records were part of evidence released Tuesday that prosecutors have in the second-degree murder case against Zimmerman. He has entered a plea of not guilty and claims self-defense in the Feb. 26 shooting. A message left Tuesday evening with Zimmerman’s attorney was not immediately returned.
Zimmerman was treated Feb. 27 at Altamonte Family Practice.
As the Gateway Pundit opines, Al Sharpton was unavailable for comment.

George W. Bush Formally Backs Mitt Romney … “I’m For Romney”
Former President George W. Bush has finally weighed in on the 2012 Presidential election and cast his support and endorsement for Mitt Romney. GWB said, “I’m for Romney.”
Mitt Romney has the support of George W. Bush.
“I’m for Mitt Romney,” Bush told ABC News this morning as the doors of an elevator closed on him, after he gave a speech on human rights a block from his old home — the White House.
Bush’s endorsement isn’t a surprise, given that Romney is virtually the Republican Party’s nominee. But the 43rd president has been absent from the 2012 campaign and hasn’t made any public comments showing his support for Romney.
Romney did get the formal backing of Bush’s parents, President George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush, in March.

Mitt Romney Leads Barack Obama in a CBS/NY Times Poll 46% – 43% … Yes, that is Correct in a CBS/NY Times Poll
WOW, Mitt Romney even leads President Barack Obama in a CBS/NY Times poll, 46% to 43%.
Yes, you read that correctly. Barack Obama finds himself behind the presumptive GOP Presidential candidate Romney by 3%. The trending for Obama is becoming troublesome for the “first Gay President”. In February 2012 Obama lead Romney 48%-42%, in March 2012 Obama lead 47%-44%, in April 2012 Obama and Romney were tied at 46% and presently Romney leads by 3%. That is a 9% swing since February. Did we mention that this was a CBS/NY Times poll?
Presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has a slight edge over President Obama in the race for the White House in the latest CBS News/New York Times poll.
According to the survey, conducted May 11-13, 46 percent of registered voters say they would vote for Romney, while 43 percent say they would opt for Mr. Obama. Romney’s slight advantage remains within the poll’s margin of error, which is plus or minus four percentage points.
Last month, a CBS News/New York Times poll showed Mr. Obama and Romney locked in a dead heat, with both earning 46 percent support among registered voters. Polls conducted in February and March showed Mr. Obama with an advantage over Romney, while a January poll showed Romney edging out Mr. Obama 47 percent to 45 percent. Another January poll showed the two tied.
As stated at NRO, Obama’s gay marriage decision to go “gay for pay” appears to have hurt him significantly in the polls.More than not individuals are now less likely to vote for Obama because of his position on gay marriage.
Overall, the CBS/NYT poll found that 25 percent of voters are less likely to back Obama because of his new position on gay marriage, while 16 percent are more likely. Twelve percent of Democrats, 23 percent of independents, and 43 percent of Republicans are less likely to support him.
Even though RCP still has the average polling with Obama up by 1.4% over Romney, if one only looks at the most recent polling after 5/7/2012, Romney is trending up and in the lead by 2.0%.
UPDATE I: Hot Air has the polling sample that was used for this poll. WOW … The weighted sample of registered voters: 36D/30R/34I, which is right in line with most national polls.

MSNBC’s Arrogent Lib Chris Matthews Says to Black Pastor on Gay Marriage: “I Hope You Evolve” (Video)
Chris Matthews, the MSNBC host who usually plays the race card and deems folks racist who do not agree with his opinion, has entered new and appalling territory. Matthews said to black pastor Bishop Harry Jackson, who opposes gay marriage, … “I hope you evolve”. Really? So much for someone having a differing opinion and set of religious values. I guarantee if anyone on the Right made the comment to a black individual that I hope they evolve, would be called a racist.
Hardball anchor Chris Matthews, who routinely smears his political opponents as racist, on Monday lectured an African American minister who opposes gay marriage, “I hope you evolve.” The host patronizingly added, “I’m just teasing.” [See video below. MP3 audio here.] How would he (or MSNBC for that matter) react if a conservative said such a thing to a black leader?
From NewsBusters:
5:39
CHRIS MATTHEWS: Do you think he would have been chasing after the kid with long hair and cutting his hair or he would have been the one protecting the kid with long hair in high school?
BISHOP HARRY JACKSON: He would have been protecting the kid with long hair.
MATTHEWS: Right. I thought so. But you’re with the guy who was going after the kid with long hair.
JACKSON: No, no, no. I’m not necessarily with him right now.
MATTHEWS: Oh, you’re not with Romney?
JACKSON: I’m not with Romney at this point. I want to say something about righteousness and justice. The Bible talks very clearly about how righteousness, which is like personal morality and holiness. It also talks about justice. What’s broken in American politics is that the Democrats think they own social justice. The Republicans think they own righteousness, but the Bible doesn’t take righteousness or justice, it takes righteousness and justice.
5:43
JACKSON: Why not let the Muslims have polygamy and bigamy?
MATTHEWS: Mr. Bishop, I hope you evolve. Thank you very much. I’m just teasing.
JACKSON: That’s all right.
The position taken by President Barack Obama is going to hurt him dearly in the black churches. Now its up to the MSM to go after those blacks and demonize them.

TSA Agents At it Again … Give ‘Full Monty’ Pat-Down On Henry Kissinger .., Because Kissinger is the face of Terrorism
Oh those observant TSA agents … even Henry Kissinger, the adviser to Presidents and former Nobel Peace prize winner, was not immune to the TSA feel up pat down.
89 year old Henry Kissinger is the latest ti be deemed a terror suspect by the brain surgeons of the TSA. Such was the case at New York’s LaGuardia airport where Kissinger was asked to get out of his wheel chair to receive a TSA pat down. As it was described, “the full monte” pat down.
Kissinger, who will be 89 this month, was spotted on Friday at LaGuardia airport in New York, getting routed to the pat-down line while going through security. Freelance reporter Matthew Cole recognized him — something the TSA agent checking identification did not.
After asking Kissinger his name as he passed through the scanner, the agent sent him to be searched. Kissinger was in a wheelchair, Cole tells us, not because he couldn’t walk, but because, Cole surmised, it was a long walk to the gate. In the search area, Kissinger was subjected to what Cole called “the full Monty” of the usual groping. “He stood with his suit jacket off, and he was wearing suspenders. They gave him the full pat-down. None of the agents seemed to know who he was,” he says.
How safe does it make any air traffic passenger feel when the very people, the TSA, who are supposed to be observant to determine who is and is not a potential terrorist did not even recognize some one of the stature of Henry Kissinger. Frightening!
